Organizational behavior is the evaluation of individuals, teams, leaders, and structure in order to create the most efficient and productive company. To illustrate this concept, one must look into a working company and see how it could be or is applied and functioning. Purchasing, Sales and Marketing, Information Services, Human Resources, and Management are the largest areas in a corporation where organizational behavior would be mast useful.
Purchasing needs organizational behavior so that they can be sure they understand specifically what they are purchasing. They also need to be able to communicate efficiently with providers so that there are no misunderstandings regarding items such as: correct item, terms and conditions, payment arrangements, transport. Also they need to be able to deal with the provider if something goes wrong and be able to solve the issue smoothly. These things are organizational behavior issues.
Likewise, sales and marketing are all about people skills. Sales and marketing requires being able to package a product in order that the consumer will want it. They must be in constant contact with the consumer(s) checking for satisfaction. They also must be able to direct the company how
