Thin waists, perfect noses, huge breasts. You name a body part, they can fake it. I see it on television, in the movies, at the mall. I hear about buddy deals and the doctors office and easy payment plans. America is paying millions of dollars to “fix” themselves. There is an image they have of what a person should look like and they will go to any lengths to get there. Is America obsessed with perfection
I remember a time when cosmetic surgery was used when necessary. My little brother Paris, was hit by a car when he was younger which left his face in need of surgery. Without it his face would have been almost fifty percent covered in deep scars. He would have been missing a part of his nose and would not have been able to shut one eye. In order to survive the accident and also live an ordinary life he had extensive plastic surgery done. Cosmetic surgery helped heal most of the damage and cover up the scars that might have otherwise ruined his life.
