Interview
When Im in a car riding down the street there is only one radio station that I really enjoy, KPRS 103.3. The music they play is quite specific. They are a hip-hop and R&B station that plays nearly every Rap and R&B group. Hip-hop is quite new to me having really only gotten into it in the early years of high school were as I liked rock since childhood. It was for this reason and a few others that I decided to interview a personality from Hot 103 Jamz, as they are nicknamed. Hot 103.3 Jamz is the only station in Kansas City that plays only rap and R&B. Most other stations will only have songs that are mainstream.
I chose to interview one of the daytime radio personalities named Tony G. Tony G is actually a 25-year-old gentleman by the name of Tre Munson. For his current job, radio personality and promotion assistant, he goes on the road and DJs for special events both live and not. He has done parties, concerts, charity events, and many other functions. About two weeks ago he also covered the after party for Eminem and Dr. Dre, two nationally known rap music artists.
