Until the meat companies started making the hotdogs out of prime cuts of meat. One major thing that started the hotdog crazy again was people saw Babe Ruth eating hotdogs before his baseball games. Another fact that stated the craze was the support of doctors. Hotdogs are a great source of protein and are eaten by millions of people in America. There are many different things you can put on hotdogs and serve hotdog in.
