In the study involving the housewives half find housework repetitive and the other half was fulfilled with the everyday chores. The difference between drudgery and pleasure is their attitude. Women who find the work repetitive may have a bad attitude toward the work because they would rather be doing other work. Those who enjoy their work feel self-motivated to do these chores. They probably have a good attitude toward the work that they are doing. Lewis Jenkle could learn that not everyone is happy in his or her career choice. The career of being a housewife may be monotonous to some, and not to others. If Lewis enjoys doing the same thing all day everyday he would probably agree with it being ?erotic?.
