Fear is a natural part in the life of every person. There is a reason or reasons behind all fears, whether the fear is instinctive or acquired. Through the course of my life, I have taken notice of three fears that unnerve me. These three things are kidnapping, drowning, and cockroaches.
The most recognizable fear that is thought I think on almost daily is the fear of having one of my children kidnapped. Although I am aware that child kidnapping is not an everyday occurrence, it remains a fear of mine. The fear of kidnapping is a common fear among most parents. This fear is an instinctive fear reinforced by regular reports on national news of a child that has been kidnapped. If this fear were to materialize, I would always wonder if my child was being properly taken care of, if he was missing his mom, or at worse, if he was dead. This fear is probably at the top of most parents? lists of fears as it is mine.
Next, the fear of drowning is a thought that brings panic to me anytime I am near water. This fear was brought on at an early age by
