Car Accident
Last year, Chris, my best friend, got a brand new car; a Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally. It was bright yellow with gorgeous chrome rims, tinted, and a sunroof. That was not even the best part; the inside had black and yellow leather seats with LANCER embroided on them. I would have given anything for a car like that. This car took a chunk out of his pocket. It cost $24,500.00; he put $5,000.00 down and has to make payment of $400.00 per month for 4 years. His insurance added on to that was $200.00 a month. Chris worked construction with his father?s business. Chris?s family is well off; they had a very nice two story 6 bedroom house. I wasn?t doubting that he couldn?t make these payments, he was just going to have to commit to work like crazy for the next 4 years. The only thing that I was nervous of was if he was going to get in an accident, and crash up his brand new baby.
