One of the great issues facing world in the 21st century is how to best obtain the energy for supporting operations: heat and light, transportation, production and delivery of goods and services. Fossil fuel supplies nearly 90 percent of the energy, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. In contrast, only %5 is provided by renewable energy. There are several differences between fossil fuel and renewable energy.
