In the writing of “Lifeboat Ethics

In the writing of “Lifeboat Ethics: The case against helping the poor”, the author introduces to the audience the Lifeboat ethics. He uses a metaphor to describe the way he is thinking, the metaphor is a boat The rich people are inside the boat, and the poor people are outside of the boat. After that is stated, the author starts making quite a bit of assumptions are made to help illustrate how “dangerous” it is for rich people to help poor nations.
