Christopher is a 15 year old boy that suffers from Aspergers syndrome. One diagnosis of this syndrome is the lack of emotional connection. In chapter 5 we see his understanding of people’s facial expression. He understands the easy ones such as sad, happy but things such as confusion, sickness and others like that he does not seem to understand. He doesn’t like to be touched which affects his communication as well he takes everything literally. This is further explored in chapter 79. The reason he hits a policeman in the early start of the story is because of him being rushed with to many questions which made his head spin and confused, futur to that he was touched by the officer.
