Sometimes

Sometimes, the child themselves tend to tell the teachers that they are hurt or that they are being abused, this should immediately be taken into action because the child would not make up such things. This is disclosure. This should be reported and shown to the professionals who have the right to see it. Every child may not want the staff to do anything about it and would want them to keep it a ‘secret’ and if the teacher or any professional promises, this would also have an effect because if the staff member ends up sharing the information with others when they had promised the child, it could break the child’s trust and they could tend to not want to trust anyone else or tell someone again so it is important to let the child know that you have to share the information in order to help them get away from being abused.
