EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The following is an industry practicum project prepared by me on my internship experience at Chiles- Mexican Taqueria, St Luke’s Mall Auckland New Zealand. It is a Mexican fast-food outlet at the food-court of the mall. The duration for the training period was for eight weeks. As a student, his project is a part of my educational background of Graduate Diploma in Business International Hospitality Management and it is related in the application of knowledge for the hospitality industry. This industry practicum is an attempt to understand that how theories can be applied to the practical training. The project is required to prepare in order to provide the students the balance between class study and off-campus practical training experience in the hospitality industry. The project is also intended to provide the students the most memorable and valuable experience because it provides the best platform to apply the skills and relevant theories and concepts that is learned in the class lectures. The project is structured and presented into various sections from the introduction to the conclusion that is relevant to the professional standards that meet the requirement for the organisation as well as academic requirements.

In the first part of the project, the main information about the introduction of the company is presented. Also, the informational data is collected through the primary as well as secondary sources. The literature review and methodology is to provide the summary of the research done previously and the methods used to investigate the managerial problem. Also, this research includes the preparation of the primary data and the collection of data through the market survey. The project provides the in-depth information about the organisational problem as well as the recommendations and suggestions to overcome for the same.
