Proactive people have the tendency to suggest new ways of performing tasks and suggest new idieas in order to improve their initiatives and tasks (Jafri, et al., 2016). Proactive personality has a positive relationship with a variety of proactive personality, such as voice behavior and career initiative (Kanten & Ulker, 2012). Fuller & Marler (2009) had suggested that proactive personality is vital for expecting individual behavior because this trait is relatively unaffected by situational forces and environmental change. They found that proactive personality is positive and significant connected to employee voice behavior. In addition, Xie, Chu, Zhang , & HUANG( 2014) concluded that proactive personality is positively related to the employee voice behavior of Chinese employees. Moreover, Kanten & Ulker( 2012) concluded that there is a significant relationship between proactive personality and employee voice behavior, they argued that, proactive personality is one of the primary determinants of voice behavior. Unlike the Western context in which they performed their studies, however, egyptian employees tend to be more ready to comply with, rather than proactively speak up to their supervisors because of the high power distance culture. thus, the relationship between proactive personality and egyptian employees’ voice behavior remains unclear. Therfore, I expected that proactive personality would be helpful in the cultural context of the workplace in egypt and proposed the following hypothesis:
