Management Theory
Management theories were introduced by Frederick W. Taylor. The process of management theory is to figure out how do you get the job done through employee productivity and efficiency. The management theory has to work for both the organization and the employee in order for it to be effective. Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. The organization must know its purpose in order to begin planning. Planning is where the purpose, goal and objectives began. Planning is an ongoing process, it requires a constant change depending on how internal and external factors affect the organization. One manager tool that is used for strategic planning is “SWOT Analysis”, a technique that helps organizations find their strength and weaknesses (Pakhara, J (2016). Organizing is the next step. Organizing brings departments, staffing and what cost. Organizing requires structure within the organization, delegating responsibilities, classifying and coordination (Pakhara, J (2016). Directing is the third functioning step. Directing can really get challenging if the right leader is not in place. A leader must be able to deliver specific communication in a receivable manner. A director has to have great communication and listening skills. The director drives the results that are expected through the team. Control is the last of the management functions. Control will determine if all job functions are being executed in a timely manner. When all jobs have been assigned, controlling checks for results, execution, reliability, and productivity. During the control process you can address any uprising problems, you can tweak one or two items, make changes and compare variables.

Functions of Management
One theory that is very interesting to me is the Principles of Management. Henry Fayol has 14 basic management principles that sets the framework of one aspect of management. 1. Division of work 2. Delegation of Authority 3. Dicipline 4. Chanin of command 5. Congenial workplace 6. Interrelation between individual interest 7. Compensation package 8. Centralization 9. Scalon chains 10. Order 11. Job Guanrantee 12. Initative 13. Equity 14. Team spirit (Management Study HQ( 2017). The principle of management does not end there. There are so many measures of management that it never ending and continuously adding. Leadership has a strong role to deliver. Leadership leads by example, by behavior and by role modeling. Teamwork extends out to everyone, you win as a team you lose as a team. Management is essential for any organization. How well you manager your team will show through meeting goals, growth and objectives are being accomplished. How success is the organization?
Research
A research that I would like to conduct employee motivation. Employee motivation can be challenging. The challeng would be, How can the organization meet goals, productivity and labor hours through the employee? Employee motivation determines how we can effectively keep the job productivity. Each employee has to managed and motivated individually. No two employee motivation is the same. Each employee is good at something but not all the same. Its important to utilize the best employee for the job. Employees work successfully when they are happy at what they are doing. There must be a trusted relationship between the manager and the employee. When conducting the research, we can determine what is getting done, how much is getting done and how we can improve if need be. We can address any management issues, employee issues and set a goal plan together. One-way employees are motivated is thru social aspect, job security and recognition (The Hawthorn Effect (2017). If there are any variables affecting productivity, it could include trust, pay and employee working hours. In my opinion, that seems to be a lot of employee complaints at the work place that hardly ever get addressed. Once you can find what works, use it. Organizations have to keep up with the era, its forever changing.

Conclusion
Any organization needs an effective manager to lead to their success. The importance of management theory is only good as the paper it is written on, without justification or a course of action in place it is no good. When you mention theory, you want to put it to the test and see how well and effective it is. Individually concepts can be analyzed by trial and error. As long as you keep working at it, it will get better and better. You can achieve your organization goals and objectives through problem solving. You have to use the tools in the toolbox.
