If you ever hang around a group of teenagers, you probably know how to use some social media like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Etc. And if you never hang around a group of teenagers, you should probably to know it. According to Pew Internet Project’s research most of the social media users are young adults. People think social media can help career and college. Others worry that it could hurt their future – college and career.
Social Media is a most common issue or topic in today’s society. Some people think that Social Media can destroys every person’s career. Some people says that Social Media makes it easier to communicate, interact, and look for a job anytime and anywhere in the world. In the article titled “91% of Employers Use Twitter, Facebook, And LinkedIn To Screen Job Applicants” the author mentions that “43% of Londoners use Social Media to find a job” (Bennett). Social Media is like Flyers and Billboard in the search process in our society today. Sites like Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter allow the manager and the employers to get an information of who you are outside of your resume and interview. On the other hand, there’s a negative side of having a Social Media or checking your Social Media. Besides some positive ways of Social Media sites, there is also a lot of negative ways, which are really can destroy our career and harmful to our lives such as cyber bullying
