Communication with oncology is core clinical skills. Lack of communication may cause such distress to patient and family members.( L. Fallowfield and V. Jenkins). Therefore patient seek for medical advice and emotional support from healthcare professionals . To provide essential care it is important to build a trustful relationship within patient and nurses whereby focus listening, clear and complete communication timely identify and satisfy patient needs. Patients make impression of the nurses based on how these nurses communicate and relate with them, and impression that nurses pass to patient will influence their satisfaction and hence their healthcare. ( Papagiannis, 2010) .Therefore as a oncology nurse effective communication is hugely important.
