A. What type of business that is added to a community benefits everyone in the community A Casino. Casino?s benefit towns greatly by giving back to the community in many ways. What most people don?t know about casinos is that they create jobs, pay a considerable amount of taxes to the community, and create tourism.
2. Body
A. General Information
1. When people go to casinos, they might gamble their money, stay at hotels, eat out, or go do other recreational activities. Some people may win money, but the odds are in the casinos favor and generally take in a lot of money.
2. There are over 100 non-commercial casinos found on Native American reservations in which don?t pay taxes.
3. Then there is other casinos in which pay taxes and are commercialized. An example of a few are the three temporary operating casinos in Michigan, which were legalized here in December of 1996, by the means of a local advisory note, then by a statewide voter referendum, and finally it took legislative action.
