ATTACK ON AMERICA
On the morning of September eleventh, two-thousand and one at about eight forty-eight
a.m. on the American Airlines flight eleven, a Boeing seven sixty-seven on a flight from
Boston?s Logan airport to Los Angeles?s International Airport. The airliner had ninety-
two passengers aboard when it crashed into the World Trade Center, Tower one. At
approximately nine zero five a.m. eighteen minutes later, United Airlines flight one
seventy five, also a Boeing seven sixty-seven from Boston to Los Angeles with sixty-
five passengers slammed into the second World Trade Center Tower. The same horrible
morning at approximately nine twenty-one a.m. President Bush announced that the two
crashes were ?apparent terrorist attacks on our country?. After hearing about the tragedy
all U.S. flights were stopped ; but apparently not in time because at nine forty-three a.m.
another fatal accident occurred. A flight from Dulles airport (right outside Washington)
collides into the Pentagon bringing fifty-eight passengers and six crew members down
with it. As a result of these tragedies the White House was evacuated. As if this wasn?t a
enough a Newark, New Jersey to San Francisco flight carrying thirty-eight passengers
seven crew members crashes just north of the Somerset
