Subject: Proposal to Create an Instruction and Reference Manual for Modifying 1997-1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
Date: March 13, 2003
Summary
As a current Pontiac Grand Prix GTP owner, I find it hard to modify my car without the hassle of paying expensive prices for installation and the long wait accompanying it. Because I am an amateur mechanic, modifying my car would be even harder without systematic instructions. In the end other users such as car enthusiasts and GTP owners will also benefit from this knowledge. I am proposing the creation of an instruction and reference manual for modifying 1997-1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. This manual would be very useful for it would include basic and more advanced ideas as to what Pontiac car owners can do to increase the performance of their vehicle with information such as where to buy parts, what the parts do, and the installation process.
Current Problems
The cost of taking your car to a qualified shop to perform modifications is very expensive; the magazines that do give insight into increasing performance are only a couple pages long and will continue in future issues meaning you will have to buy the next issues
