Business Description
Our business is going to be a Limited Liability Corporation. The reason that we have chosen this is because we would like to have a share in the company, but because we need a large sum investment from an outside partner, this leaves us with this kind of organization. We cannot be a Partnership, because Chevron does not enter into dealer agreements with Partnerships.
The kind of business that we are running is giving a service. We don?t sell anything that we make ourselves. We are providing gasoline to the public where it can be easily accessed during their commute. Our goal is to make stopping at the gas station a more pleasant experience. Not like going to the dentist to have some teeth pulled.
Because we are entering into business with Chevron, this would of course make us a franchise. We decided to go into a franchise because that seemed to be the easiest route. There are already people who are successful from owning and operating a Chevron. Plus it is convenient that they supply everything for us. This makes it so we can concentrate more on the service
