On July 29, 2001, two white Greene County jailers urinated on four African-American inmates playing basketball. The jailers were on a catwalk making their daily check when they decided to perform this unethical behavior. One jailer had been working there for a year and the other had only been employed for a day. Both employees? have been charged with misdemeanor assault.
