My Eye Opening Experience
The day after my sixth birthday I received a gift that was one of the best and worst things that has ever happened to me. I was in a near fatal car accident that in all probability should have ended my young life. But I was given a second chance; I believe I have much more in store for me before I pass on.
Back when I was living in San Antonio I was a big Arnold Schwartzenagger fan so one of my gifts from my mom was that she was going to take my sister and me to see Total Recall at the theatre. We didn?t get to go on my birthday because we were tired from the party and I wanted to play with all of my new toys. The next night we went out to see the movie. After the movie was over I remember walking back to the car and having to go back in to the theatre to go to the restroom. After that we stopped at a Mexican restaurant to pick up some dinner for my dad who had been working late.
