When I heard about the plot, I thought to myself ?man is this going to be boring.? Boy was I wrong. The Characters actually had some depth to them. The one character that really caught my eye however was John Proctor. He is the most developed of all the Characters because his traits were diverse. John Proctor, in a nut shell is obsequious, satiric, and forthright.
You can tell John Proctor loves his wife and is sorry for what he had done in the past because he tries to be obsequious. For example he says, ?I mean to please you, Elizabeth.? Ever since he committed adultery you can tell he has been trying hard to make it up to her. He tries to compliment her for everything. In addition he says ?I have made a bell of honor! I have rung the doom of my good name–you will believe me Mr.Danforth. My wife is innocent except she knew a whore when she
