Grigory Rasputin is without a question one of the most scandalous figures in Russian history. He is known to have strange powers and a mysterious influence over others, with his eyes that change colors when he spoke. Nobody had power over him except he had control over everyone around him. He gained a close relationship with Nicholas II, and his wife Alexandra and became the most influential man in the government. He gained power over the royal family, especially Alexandra through mysterious ability to stop Alexis, the inheritor of the throne, from bleeding because the boy suffered from hemophilia. Rasputin could heal when the top medical professors could not, and that made everyone believe Rasputin was sent from God. Rasputin?s mysterious healing built a close relationship with the royal family and especially Alexandra, and made powerful enemies outside the palace.
