The novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding is an exciting adventure deep into the hindmost region of the human brain, the part, which is concealed by the everyday tasks of modern society. This story tells the struggle between two boys, Ralph and Jack, the boys and the beast, and good and evil.
This story begins when a group of British schoolboys are marooned on an island. A boy named Piggy found a conch shell. Another boy, Ralph, used it to signal the boys who were lost on the island. Ralph was selected as the leader. Ralph wants to make their chances of survival and rescue greater by building huts and keeping a signal fire. Piggy used his glasses to start a fire. Another boy, named Jack, was appointed leader of the hunters. The hunters were made up of the choirboys from school.
