Limp Bizkit
Limp Bizkit Report
The book I choose to read was Limp Bizkit, written by Colin Devenish. Colin Devenish is a music journalist from San Francisco, California. He writes for Bam, Livedaily, Music365, Rollingstone.com and Sidewalk.com. He is an accomplished and experienced journalist in the music industry. This book is written as if Colin had been touring with the group. There are great conversations between Colin and Fred Durst, the lead singer, where they discuss the early days of his life before he was a musician to his current fame. It contains in depth interviewers with mostly Fred Durst, but also Wes Borland the bassist.
The main points of this reading has to do with where Limp Bizkit came from and how they became who they are today. The book starts out talking about the family lives of all the band members. It goes into great detail about the early days of Fred Durst and his life at home. It goes into great detail of how his family was deeply religious and how Fred was forced to go to church everyday. Though his parents always told him to have an open mind, Fred disliked going to church. Though he hated going to church
