In another article,which was written by de Bruyn, Eddy H (2017) entitled “Same-Sex Attraction, Social Relationships, Psychosocial Functioning, and School Performance in Early Adolescence.” This was conducted in Washington,DC and unlike (Matthew Miller 2013), (de Bruy,.Eddy H 2017) collected his data with the use of a computer based essay.Online questionnaires were sent out to 13- to 15-year-old adolescents who experience feelings of same-sex attraction.Data were collected from 866 Dutch high school students the mean age was 13 years.Of the participants, 74 (8.5%) reported having feelings of same sex attraction.Similar to Matthew Miller (2013) research, higher levels of depression and lower levels of self-esteem contributed to their sexual gender orientation.Also, there was a problem while gathering data from the survey because questions weren’t answered and this lead to limitations in the data.
