When you look at our world today,
do you see a future of hope or a future of despair
Why is it these days, that whenever you sit down to read the newspaper, watch the news, or listen to the radio, it seems as if most of the stories in the headlines are about police chases, government scandals, armed robberies, cold-blooded murders, terrorist attacks, or other news that make the world seem detrimental Because of the media??s tendency to report only the more ??°entertaining??± stories, it is conventional for many to believe that the world is constantly full of despair. If the media would begin to put our many advancements in the fields of science, medicine, education, and goodwill into the headlines, our society would be able to see that our world is looking towards a prosperous future of hope. Over the years we have developed many highly effective ways to combat pollution and prevent the depletion of our natural resources. Our advancements in artificial insemination, genetic engineering, and the growing availability of birth control are paving the way to a healthier environment and a more controlled population growth.
