Beauty Within
I will never forget the fairy tales relayed to me as a child. These magnificent stories my parents read to me, were the only thing I enjoyed about bedtime. As soon as I heard the words “Once upon a time” I was drawn into a timeless fantasy, far away from reality. What I did not know then, was that I was not only listening to these tales but I was also learning an important role on how I would view the world throughout my life. From the numerous fairy tales read to me, the “Ugly Duckling” and the “Beauty and the Beast” have had the most impact on shaping my character. These two fairy tales have instilled my belief that beauty should not be based on a persons physical appearance, but more importantly on the beauty found within.
Third grade was a difficult year for me. Just as I began to love school and have many wonderful friends, my parents decided to move. I finished the rest of third grade at a new school and was all alone. No one talked to me or sat by me, I thought everyone hated me. They all made fun of me because
